Palliative Care
Our palliative care suite offers comfortable overnight accommodation for visitors wishing to spend time with their loved ones.
Visiting hours are unlimited, kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, private balcony, and private sitting and sleeping areas are available.
Patients can be admitted for:
• Symptom management
We also liaise with Palliative Care Outreach for admissions to Hunter Valley Private Hospital and discharge home as required.
• End of life care
Patients are admitted under our palliative care specialist, Dr John Malcolm. Your general practitioner or other health care provider can refer you to our service. You can also contact us directly to discuss your needs. We accept referrals from other private hospitals, public hospitals and public hospital emergency departments.
